New to the World of Tahoe's. Heater doesn't work.

So I just bought a 1997 Tahoe.

The heater doesn't work. I've replaced the

Blower resistor and the

Blower motor relay.

I pulled out the dash ac/heat control module. It's looks good. The circuits look great.

What else should I check? Please help.

I looked at it. His problem is different. Unless I read it wrong. His blower was running. Mine doesn't do a thing.

I did test the blower and it can function (I jumped a spare battery to it to test).

I think it's electrical, but what do I know.

This is not my only car so I have time to attack the problem the right way.

Any suggestions on places to look or how to verify the electronics?

SunlitComet, thanks for the reply!!! I tested the switch by running 12v through it and a light bulb. It worked on all speeds.

So to recap I have tested the switch, installed a new resistor and relay and I tested the blower motor.

Is there somewhere else I should check. I read that sometimes the wire melts or fails??? Is there a way to test that? what else could it be? Damn gremlins!!!

EDIT***

Also just as an fyi. My wipers don't work and my gear indicator light does not light up when running but when not running it does.

Seems I have a couple electrical gremlins.

GOOD NEWS ! ! ! !

I was f*cking around testing wires and all. Looks like a bad ground to the blower motor. I jumped the blower motor case (ground) to the metal brace behind the glove box and bam the blower kicked on. All speeds check out fine. I just need to check that ground wire and make sure its grounded good.

Any suggestions on where I should go to secure the ground for this?

Also thanks everyone for the help. I believe I'm really going to like it here on this forum!!!

there is a ground splice near the blower high speed relay behind glove box.
the wiper control circuit board may have cold solder joints. you know how to solder at all?

I can solder a little. Where's the wiper control circuit board?

Also, not to sound dumb, but whats a ground splice? And any pics of the common ground points? So I can verify the other grounds are good.
