High, old retired guy who just purchased a 2007 Yukon, Denali. Very nice upgrade from my old 2001 Suburban but the new truck is driving me a little crazy. Couple of things: Passenger running board has a mind of it's own, stays out most of the time.
Park assist usually works but sometimes turns itself off and then I can't turn it back on.
Thirdly, the gear whine must be coming from the front diff, dealer put in a new (used with low miles) transaxle but whine is still lound starting around 35-40 get's higher in frequency along with speed. Let of gas and it stops.
Anyone have a clue for me? Also the door seals are like new but a couple of doors leak air and it drives me nuts. My hearing aides amplify the wind noise, now easy is it to pull the door seals and perhaps bump the metal out and make them tighter?
Retired for a long time as company is now gone but I'd love to clean this Denali up a bit, body is perfect, seats and leather good, rides good just a few ghosts it seems. I grew up in a car dealership but that was a long time ago, do my own work (most of it).
Thank you all, this might be a good place it seems.
