The wife and I live in Mesa, AZ, and just got her a real nice low mileage 2013 Yukon SLT. Haven't done much so far, just a set of F&R Weathertechs and a Dash Designs dash cover. In due time I'll do a drop, Denali-style grille, air tube and high efficiency air filter. We are a car-oriented family .... hot rodders first and foremost. We also have a slightly modded 2006 Silverado single cab, a 1949 Chevy Fleetline with a 2004 5.3 and 4L60e, and a 1964 Chevy II wagon with a 2002 Camaro LS1 and 4L60e. I do have a quick question, however. The other day I was driving through Tempe behind a police Tahoe and noticed it was running dual exhausts. That surprised me as I didn't expect to see duals on a fleet vehicle like a cop car. Or am I wrong ... and duals are included on some SSV packages?

Enjoying the forum so far.

I don't have an answer for you, but I've never noticed that before. Interesting. What kind of mods do you have on your Silverado? I have a few on my 03 Hoe as well. Post some pics up of those babies:D

Welcome and Happy New Year Barry to you and yours! How are you liking the 6-speed compared to all those 4-speed cars?
Since it’s the wife’s ride, I haven’t driven it much but I like it ... it just seems to keep on shifting forever.

Mild drop, 2”/3” w/20” wheels, Airaid breather, Weathertech, roll-up tonneau, BedRug, sound system. You know, the usual.

Welcome. Let's see the other rides.

The 49 Fleetline has a 2004 5.3 and 4L60e from a Tahoe. The intake cover is from an early HHR. The 64 Chevy II has an Ls1 and trans from an 02 Camaro. The hood is now on after getting it louvered. It has a replacement front clip from TCI. The wagon is my daily driver.
