Recently picked up a 99LT, had a 96 LT a few years ago so I'm pretty familiar with the truck in general.
Anyways, it seems like when I take off from a light there is a slight shudder/slipping/vibration/tap right when I hit the gas pedal, almost like there is some play somewhere in the drivetrain. I occasionally get it as well when coming to a stop, almost like the tranny is downshifting but its right as I am coming to a complete stop kind of like 3 light taps when I am almost to 0.
The tranny shifts smooth, no clunks or hard shifting so I'm just curious if its something I should worry about.
The previous owner took really good care of the truck, esp with the mechanicals so I'm wondering if just a drivetrain fluid flush would be advised and possibly help with the problem, or if it's normal.
I've heard a shift kit (just the electronic one) would most likely take care of the problem so I turn to the experts here for advice!
Thanks,
John
