I joined the forum and have been reading threads non stop since. I purchased a 2010 Z71 2WD a month ago and have been working ever since. I am having the 2.5/1" Leveling kit installed on Monday. I have ordered wheels and tires I am going with 20x8.5 Rockstar with Nitto TG 295/55/20. The wheels are +35 MM offset and I was wondering how much trimming that would require. I don't want to trim much, and I really dont want to have to trim the front air dam piece or the plastic on the front of the step sides. Everything I have read says the wheels/tires will fit well but the offset was recommended at +35 for my vehicle so that is what I went with. Anybody have any idea on what this will require?

I guess nobody has the answer? I think my real question for those running 305/55/20s is what is your offset on the wheel? I went to the place that is putting on my leveling kit and they had a 2007 Z71 Tahoe they just put a 4" lift on. He is running 305/55/20s with trail grapplers, but he has a -12 offset and his wheels sit so far outside of the fenders that they will have to cut on the bumper to keep them from rubbing when the wheel is cut hard. I have a +35 offset on my wheels, but now I am worried they might rub on the inside if they sit too far in. I am confident based on the forum that 305/55/20 will fit fine, but it seems like offset is the key.

I can let you know Monday. I am installing my leveling kit and running a 305/50/20 nitro on a 20 inch rim with +16 backspacing.

Thanks for the input. The backspacing on these wheels is 6.13" so I think worst case scenario I can put some wheel spacers on there and the will fit good.
