Just got it back from the mechanic. Replaced all passenger-side lifters (#4 was bad)
Had them turn off the AFM while they were at it. In my research, this AFM is the possible culprit of these lifters going bad, as oil flow is reduced on the 4 cylinders that are shut down (or something like that). They said that they do that mod more than anything else on these engines.
$1300 for right-side lifters. $220 for AFM mod. Total of $1615 for everything.
Have a really quiet Denali now!
