Engine compartment with 2nd battery tray and the
strange hose that seems to go nowhere - perhaps a breather - but for what ? Also looks like I got a block heater.
Overall it looks to be in nice shape. If it was me, I'd put somd kind of reflector(red)in that B pillar square hole. It'll save you the trouble of having to replace it. I think that soft driver's door armrest is a somewhat common issue, or so I've read anyway.
Lol - it's definitely not perfect. The holes on those pillars
are only noticeable from the rear seating, so I'm not
too worried, but yeah, they need to be filled
with something for now.
Managed several more pics despite the rain today. Still need to
get out and give her a good and thorough cleaning before
repairs begin, but it's still winter up here. Most of it is
minor cosmetics that I can accomplish within
a few hours with the right parts.
A lot of the trucks I'd been looking at over many months
were 2011-2012's, which had between 220,000 and
260,000 Km's on them, so I jumped at this one
with only 185,000 Km ( 114,000 Miles ).
So far, I've fixed the front jumpseat, replaced two inner roof
vents, and just now replaced the appliques above the tail
lights which were holed (Thanks KBones !). As you can
see, there is still snow on the ground up here,
and it's a balmy -3 degrees Celsius.
Having the recall serviced Monday morning and then
rustproofing on Tuesday.
Find any used interior panels yet? That strange hose underneath--to me looks like a hose that deals with skme kind of liquid, but that's just a guess. Have you traced the other end of it yet?
Welcome to the forum, I'm a little late with the greeting. Great group of folks here though, you should be able to get any help you need with things.
I'm curious what the hose is for as well, can't wait to see what you find it going to. And your PPV looks to be in pretty good shape too, congrats on the purchase. Any big plans for it, besides fixing the cosmetic issues?
