Newbie in need of a bit of help :D

Hey guys!

First post here, and I'm already asking questions. I know .. Hahaha. Anyways, I just bought a 2007 Chevy Tahoe LT this past weekend, and the owner somehow messed up one of the remotes. I was looking to get another one and found this:

However I noticed that the remote has a buttom for the rear hatch as a whole, however the remote that I have is more like:

Notice the second one has a button for the rear glass only rather than the entire rear hatch. If I were to get the first one, would I be able to reprogram it to open the rear glass instead? I'm not sure, but I don't think I have a rear hatch popper .. for lack of a better word ..

It's probably the 2nd one assuming that you don't have a power liftgate but I'm not 100 percent sure

Yeah, thats what I'm thinking, but I wanted the first one due to the fact that its one of those flip out keys hahaha. I'm trying to figure out a way to see if I can get the first option to work for me ..

Don't know that the 6 button remote would work if you don't have a power liftgate. Probably need the 5 button.

The keys don't work as they don't clear the shifter. Check this thread for more info: http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/escalade-keyfob-on-a-yukon.32601/page-28#post-1054594 and the subsequent pages.

Not what you wanted to hear, I'm sure...but hopefully this saves you some time and money.

Yeah I had seen that on one of the reviews afterwards. Darn it. Hahaha.
