Just picked up a 04 with 24's on it and a 2/4 lowering kit mcgaughys...having major rubbing issues really like the look but drive a ton of miles and these tires are getting eat up not sure how the heck they were driving it before I got it. Anyways what are my best options.....again I like the look and would prefer to keep the wheels I was looking at ride tech shockwaves anyone have any imput on them?? The inner fenders are intact still and I have been told they have to be clearanced to run the 24's any advice would be awesome!
Thanks

If your tires are unevenly worn the previous owner may not have had the alignment done after lowering it. The size you are running sounds common so you should be good there, and offset is measured in mm (which I was referring to at least is typically ~30, + or -). If a re-alignment wasn't performed that could be the problem. Unfortunately new tires may have to be factored into your solution...

The rubbing on the inner fenders wont really hurt much but as far as the tire rubbing the inside lip of the fender and cutting in to the tire that's not a good thing. I personally would try rolling the inside lip of the fenders or trying to tighten the torsion bolt a little to lift the front up just a tad to were it wont hit the fender lip any more. It sounds like if you are rubbing the fender lip with that size tire then you are a bit lower then 2 inches in the front. Your offset on the wheels might not be the best either cause I never had any rubbing issues with that size tire and I was quite a bit lower then 2 inches...it only rubbed the inner fender wells, not the fender.
