newbie question navi 09 denali

I´m a newbie to your forum, and just got an 09 yukon denali in Germany, i got two questions: how i remove the headunit (comlete unit with navi and cd/DVD)
with out any visiual damge to the cover in the console.

Second has the 09 yukon denali NAV/CD/DVD system any usb connector on the back ?? or have i to buy an adaptor speical for ipod??

one off topic, how i clean the electric step boards (with closed doors ??

Remove the wood trim around the headunit by carefully prying with a flat-blade tool. It will feel like it is about to break, but don't worry because it won't.

The nav does not have any USB connector in the back. For iPod you will need to buy an aftermarket kit. Some people use PXAMG and some use Lockpick - research them. I personally use pXAMG and I love it but Lockpick gives you more features.


We clean our Escalade's power running boards by opening the door and barely closing it, just enough to where it is out of the way but not closed enough to make the steps retract.

thanks changed over from an escalade07, but you are right a lot of fun escpecially if you have a predator tune mit no speed limit on the PCM of the car
