I was just looking on there, and I see them for $68 (l) and $70 (r) each. Was your price reference for both or each?
I'm not sure I can convince my wife to let me spend $140 + shipping for those pieces, especially when the black ones are $20 and $21 each.

I priced them on there for the 09 and it was $32.75 for part #25824700 and $32.33 for part #25824698.

The finish was rubbing off when I bought my used but new to me 08. I was considering peeling all of the finish off to see how the bare black plastic underneath looked. I also considered spraying the trim with Fusion paint. Fortunately my truck is still under warranty so the dealer replaced the trim. But if it happens again, I think I'll try the Fusion paint.

I bought mine 2 months ago as a Certified GM Vehicle. Which gave me a 12 month 12k mile bumper to bumper warranty. Maybe they will cover this. cant hurt to try. They already replaced the wood grain part of the center console and 1 door handle.

KCFLHTK,

Have you spoken with your dealership to confirm if your warranty covers the part?

Thank you

I have not but I will. I'm sure since they covered the wood grain console cover they should probably cover this too. I will definitely check with them and thank you for checking with me.

Really? I paid between 80-90 shipped for both.. so 30-40 a piece plus shipping is what I paid.

That's what I see too. $32.75 for part # 25824700 and $32.33 for part # 25824698

Found it! Apparently they changed the part in '08 (GMC) and '09 (Chevy) and the part is significantly cheaper for the newer models. I'm curious what changed so much that my barely older part is more than twice as expensive as what should be the equivalent of a one or two year newer model.
