If I do a 2/3 drop, will my tires rub? I have 24's on now and had to trim the front wheel well lining a bit. It was starting to bend my front drivers side fender.

@ slowstang305: Thanks!

@ fire730: They are Gino model 498. I will post up some better pics tomorrow. Try to give everyone a 360 view of it.

@ geoffreyis: I am not sure but that sucks. Was it a large piece or a small piece? Like dime size or quarter? O.m sure you could use some kind of touch up paint, but I am no expert so try posting something up and see what everyone has to say.

So, I decided that I was going to take the LT and Tahoe lettering off my hoe today. I also decided that I was going to try and spray paint the front and back Chevy emblems gloss black.

I used Rustoleum Gloss Black Automotive Enamel spray paint. I used Goof Off to clean the emblems before I painted them.

I used a flat head screwdriver to pry off the lettering (made sure to not scratch the paint!) and used Goo Gone to remove the adhesive.

Tell me what you guys think!

what brand rims are those ,i love them!!! i should of went with those rims for my vehicle!!!!!

*nevermind
sorry was too excited that i didnt bother to read the rest of the postS

Ahh, not what I want to hear. How do I get it dropped but not rubbing? I see a lot of tahoes dropped on here, do they all have a rubbing problem? This is my daily so I can't have it rubbing.

P.S. I know this is dumb, but how do you guys get the pics above your member name? I've tried putting the 200x200 size pic and it never takes.

That does look good!

Try claying the paint, follow up with a very light polish and then some wax. Should come right off.

Try www.autopia.org if that does not work; it's 'the place' for detailers.

So, I took it to the car cleaners and had them wash and wax it. It took almost all of the residual dirt and adhesive around the letters. There is a little but i'm sure that will come off with the next cleaning.

Well, after I got out to do some fine touching, I noticed I totally forgot the TAHOE lettering on the trunk.....I know, I know, stupid me........ well, either way, here is some pics as requested and hope you all enjoy!
