Newly Install Volant CAI

I just install Volant's CAI for my 2009 Yuk and I thought you all might like to see how it looks. Next up is the Black Bear tune.

And here is why you want to get a CAI! This thing looks like Rube Goldberg (Google him) designed it!

Did it deepen your exhaust tone a lot? I did mine and my Volant resonator delete tip at the same time so I could not tell what just the CAI did. Mine whistles like a SOB at WOT....I assume all of them do not just the 6.2L

Yea, the sound now has a deep gurgle to roar when I put my foot down! I was a bit surprised at the sound at first but man I am loving it now. It also seems to have reduced the lag in the acceleration that sometimes occurs.

All in all I am glad I did it. I did have one small issue with the reducer cone but Volant tech support was top notch and got me the correct part out by 2 Day Xmail. Did I mention the sucker looks really nice too??

You can get good deals on Volant and K&N on eBay right now. The Volant and K&N are basically the same.
