Well you have started out much better than most owners. Get the 0W20 out and drive around town in L9 for now. You could drive in L9 on the highway if you wanted to give up some fuel economy.

The next thing I need to check and see if Trailer or Sport mode shuts down DFM??

My 2024 was an August 2024 build with the engine build date of July 15, 2024.

My spare fuel pump modules are the 4821 units, I do not think I checked the part number of the original yet

I’ve been following this because I’m in the market for a Hoe or Denali. Are the 2025 models impacted here too? Seems as if they are, which would give me serious pause and/or shift to the baby diesel.

Nobody really knows. Have yet to see a post about a 2025 engine blown, but, it’s early.

Has anything materially changed for 25 that would say that "It's over with"? I don't believe so.....

Seems to indicate that at least 346 reports have been filed with NHTSA. Assume this is less than 20% of actual failures?

A comment indicated that GM has until March 28th to provide requested information. Then NHTSA needs to digest all this info and decide if they need more data or what if anything they may request GM to do in order to address failures. We shall see what happens and when, I do not expect any solid info until Sept or later.
