Night time picture of my Yukon

So I am into photography and once in a while I like to do night photography.

This picture was taken in nearly pitch dark. I used an ultrawide angle lens and this was a 30 second exposure shot RAW. After post processing this is the final image.

I love how you can really see the stars in the sky. Its cool how the camera can capture all this light and go from pitch black to this.

Camera costed $3000 and my wide angle lens is $2000
Nikon D700 and a 14-24 2.8.

How ever you can do these shots with any camera that you can have a long exposure, even a point and shoot.

It seems like the Yukon is flat cardboard and right in the middle of

falling over where it's sitting. How do you create that effect?
