with all due respect, NOS is far from 'fake' HP....there's no denying it's benefits.

Now that doesn't change to argue NOS on a stock motor for a few seconds of joy is worth it or not. That's a different debate.

But as far as power to dollar ratio, NOS is far from 'fake'. Just sometimes not warranted.

twintt. how come u didnt like it and ur saying ill be safe with 100 shot, i was gunna get a wet set up with a purge and a heater pack found a new complete kit for 299 shipped. with everything, i just want it to spray at wot. the hoe has plenty of power i just want that boost for when i need it.

I had nitrous on top the Super Charger. It was great, but I use it mostly on the street. I found that most times when I wanted the nitrous, either the bottle was turned off, or empty.

Imagine your sitting at a light and the guy next to you all of a sudden wants to play. You don't always have the time to turn on the bottle. You can't leave them on all the time, so it gets to be a roll of the dice if you are ready or not.

So when I switched from supercharger to turbo's, I left them off the system.
I may add nitrous again, but just a quick shot to help get the turbo's spooling.

I don't agree that Nitrous is cheating, it is just one of the power adders available.

Most of the guys blowing up engines are doing 200 to 300 shots or more.
If you use all the safe switches you should be just fine with a 100 shot.

Dont misunderstand what Im saying, I KNOW it does massive amounts of power sometimes..I get that...I just dont see that a bottle of liquid power that can run out in a day as real HP...thats all, like I said..I consider HP mechanical...

Horses (hp) run because of their built in muscles...if a horse inhales laughing gas..its not going to be any faster... lol.. -_-

IMHO, NOS isn't for daily power enhancers anyway. Now run a 11.0 at the track and a 9.90 on NOS, at the track that is, then it's a great power adder.

But I would NOT run NOS in my daily 6000 truck for a once in awhile jolt.

Turbo or Supercharge, may cost more, but enjoy it evertime you touch the peddle.

yeah i got them at a gm swap meet in huntington beach from some guy they passed last year when i smogged,

theres a truck meet? id go but im not goint to be in sac till next weekend

and yeah i have a tranny guy and a pretty reasonable exsaust guy

tranny guy is norcal transmission uhh 916-641-7553 larry he owns it
call him up tell him what u want done and he will work something out.

ed wright chip? r they worth it? i have a hypertech computer in it now and it took away the rev limiter and took off the speed controle its hellped alot and ive sceen better fuel mpg, and alittle more power it ran the 8thmile in 6sec flat, i havnt dont the 1/4

the nos kit i found is a wet kit 100 shot 125 shot and 150 shot i think it comes with different changable nozzels.. i just want something little 100, and its easier to hide nos lines at the smog inspection then a sc or turbos... lol
