so it is finally just about time to get some new tires. I have debated with myself endlessly on what to get for the 07 Z71 Tahoe.

I am really starting to look hard at the Nitto Ridge Grapplers.
It's hard to find much info on these newer tires.
Anyone have any experience with them?
Some pics on a Tahoe/Yukon would be awesome.

I purchased the CCM leveling kit but have not put it on... I've been waiting for when I put on new tires. I'm really starting to think I won't be putting it on, and will just go one size up in tire to the 275/65R18... I kinda dig the way she sits without the level kit.

Other tires in consideration are:
BFG KO2
Cooper ST MAXX
Toyo OC AT Extreme

The Ridge Grapples look awesome but i am not sure how they perform, they will be my next setup once i get my leveling kit on. I have the BFG K02 in 275/55/20 and i noticed a big difference in handling, on dry pavement it grips really well on high speed curves.

We had a big snow storm here and the K02s performed very will plowing through deep snow on 2wd it was very control able and on ice its decent i did slide down a steep hill which was scary but was still able to control it. K02s seemed heavier and i loss about 1 - 2 MPG but oh well shes a gold digger anyway.

Go for the ridge tires. It's the same as toyo RT so should get 45k miles out of them. Way better looking tire then all the ones you listed

anyone have thoughts on leveling vs not leveling?

My stock tires are 265/65/18 and areabout 31.5x10, and they just look a bit to small. I'm not looking to go super aggressive, but I think the rubber needs to be a lil bigger.

The 275/65/18 ridge grapplers I am looking at are about 32x10.5... I wonder if I will even notice the difference.

The 285/65/18 RG's are about 32.5x11. Would those fit without the leveling kit and not have significant rub?... and if they did, would I be getting too close to a goofy overstuffed look?
