I don't think my hands are small enough nor am I flexible enough to do the wiring necessary for the swap....:D

Very simple for anyone who does it now. Cut off the plug of the old one and wire it into the new one. Wires are colored can't mess it up. There are 2 white wires and 2 black wires. The only ones that matter are the white ones. If it doesn't work you just gotta swap the white wires. But if your smart and mark them before its easy as pie.

Makes perfect sense. As for install, I remember there being 1 bolt holding it on...is that true?

Just one hex bolt at the end. Very Simple. Hardest Part is removing the lower console panel. Not hard. 3 bolts, 2 in plain view and one on the hood release latch. Then just pull hard it has push clamps.

Does this change the input on the lower portion of the speedo? I'm lining everything up for a 6L80 swap for under 1800, and this will be an obstacle to overcome.
