Your tips look great Serge... I want to get this but don't want to make it any louder than it already is... stock 6.2L is loud enough :/

Felix you know that was my fear as well.

The only time I notice it being slightly louder is on the rare occasion that I have to step on it.

Also cold starts with the remote are sexy loud. :)

Hmm.. Well I had your exact tip (but the Volant one) on the 5.3L Tahoe and it made it significantly louder. Almost too loud... My main issue is I really don't want to hear it at all when I'm inside the vehicle. Have you found any tips like yours that doesn't require cutting off the resonator?

No felix I didn't.

Honestly looking at how close the resonator is to the bumper I couldn't find anything that could have enough room to sweep to the side. I guess you could weld a dual tip at the same angle as the stock one going straight back and down, but to me that seemed hardly worth the effort ... in fact I thought that it might even look worse than stock.

Lol I had turn downed flowmaster exhaust on my 01 Tahoe and then the magnaflow exhaust with Volant tips in the 08 Tahoe. Ive been there twice before and love the exterior look but man the sound I hear from the inside is no longer desirable... Especially when a 6 month old is in the car and trying to sleep :)

I agree serge the canister look definitely is an eye sore but the resonator is what is keeping it quite... Looking to maintain the stock sound but get some sweet tips like you have!!
