Greetings,

I have a 03 Yukon XL with the Bose system in it. All of a sudden I have no bass. What I have done so far is checked the 30 amp fuse under the hood, and that looks good. I have checked my radio settings, and all is good. I have checked that I have sound coming from the front, and rear speakers, but no bass so it sounds like crap. What I need help with is is this an amp problem, or a sub problem? I did take the whole console out sitting on my dining table I popped the sub out and it looks good. Is it possible for everything else to work on the amp but the sub channel?

Any direction you guys can give me would be great!

Thanks

I suppose it is, did you try the sub on something else, or try another speaker there?
Or even hook up a meter and watch for changing A/C voltage across the sub wires?

take a 12v battery from a drill, get some speaker wire, place the two leads from one end of the speaker wire on the leads on the sub and tap both leads on the other end of the speaker wire to the leads on the battery. If the sub moves then its good and ure sub feature on ure amp is gone. If the sub does not move, then its fubar
