no brake lights

I have a problem with not having brake lights unless I use my trailer brake control box. I replaced the brake switch on the pedal and nothing has changed.

that would leave the brake fuse and the multiswitch assembly. do turn and hazards work?

Yes all other lights work. Were is the multiassenbly switch?

I take that back they did work now I have nothing at all

multiswitch is your big stalk on the left. turn signal, hazards,cruise control and wiper combo unit. try to get a delco replacement. amazon or dealer. about$130. in the meantime cycle you hazard switch a bit you might get some of the light back temporarily.

so i just changed my turn indicator lever and now i don't have brake lights. My trucks getting the hydroboost conversion right now so when it gets back ill have to check it out. is there a wrong way to install the lever to where the brake lights won't work? Im having the switch changed with the conversion. thanks again

No wrong way, perhaps the brake light switch failed or the fuse blew.
