2015 gmc yukon denili, was told that it wont start when button pushed(brake applied) check and found both pos and neg cables bad, replaced and told customer battery weak, they replaced battery, sometimes start and then no start, recheck all groungs at motor side( ok)underhood fuse block seated and tight, so I installed new push buttion switch and all was good( start everytime), so customer tried a few days later and no start? so I asked again what are you doing when in car?, finally was told that she move the drivers seat forward when cranking motor .. so I said try to start when not moving seat, it starts every time, I cant find power ,ground wire diagram for seat, has anyone ever heard or seen this concern before, I wont be at the truck for a week to check it out, just wondering.

I had a sort of similar issue with my 2016. I had taken the Weather Tech molded floormat out to clean it and when I put it back in, I apparently put it on TOP of the accelerator pedal pushing it to the floor. When pushing the start button, the engine would turn over but not start. I figured the vehicle new the throttle would be wide open if the engine started and did not allow ignition to protect it.
