I have a 2000 Yukon and the problem I am having is no heat coming out of the front vents. The rear blows hot like normal but the front is barely luke warm. I checked the blend door actuator right above the transmission hump and it works fine. I guess now I will try flushing the heater core but needed some advice before trying. How hard is it to disconnect the heater hoses from the heater core? Which side is the inlet and which is the outlet? What is the best thing to use for flushing it? Any help on this will be greatly appreciated!

No Front Heat in 2001 Yukon

I am having the same problem in my 2001 Yukon - no heat in front, rear works fine. I've flushed the heater core but still no heat (just luke worm). It's acting as if the vent door is not moving to open or close for hot or cold. Does anyone know how I can figure this out and how I can fix this ? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all - I've been trying to figure out why I have no front heat in my 2001 Yukon and found this site. Looking fwd to your responses. Basically the front heater will not change in temperature (only luke worm). Heater core has been flushed but still no change in temperature. It's acting as if the vent is not moving. Anyone have a suggestion on how I can fix this ? Thanks for your replies - it's getting pretty cold in Michigan and needing heat BAD !

Try checking the blend door servo. It is on the bottom of the heater under the hush panel, easy to see it ,2 screws hold it in.
