Ok, after reading all this, I ordered a light for the glove box. My question,is where to pick up power for it? Any input is greatly appreciated. Once done this will be one of the less expensive mods......lol

Ok, we both need to know where you hooked into the power both for the glove box and under the dash. Saves us a lot of time:) Thanks for keeping us wondering:)

I did the same with the footwell lights. Just tap into the harness under the dash on drivers side.

As far as the glove box that's weird but just as easy to put in. Find the switch in another truck from a salvage yard. Wire it to another hot wire or straight to the battery.

I guess Searay and I know we need a constant hot wire for the glove box light but are hoping someone can point out a wire near the switch, or preferably the wire used for the switch in the earlier models.

In my thread when I put in a light in my center console (dash cubby and rear cup holders) I just tapped into the cigarette lighter in the dash for constant power.

Funny, once you said that I was like, "dahhh, perfect pick up point, why didn't I think of that"....lol
