My 2015 Yukon xl Denali has no gos signal - when you go to the built in map the system does not know where it is.

Anyone fix that before?

Have you checked to see if your satellite (Sirius/XM) radio is working? If not, this is definitely an issue with the shark fin antenna on the roof of your vehicle. I had the same exact issue you are detailing here. Luckily my neighbor is a GM service manager, and he immediately commented that the antenna is the issue. I purchased one from Amazon for under $100, and it was a genuine GM part that was already painted to match my factory paint code. I installed it myself, under 1 hour total. Once completed, the compass, GPS, and satellite radio all came back on as expected. It does take a few minutes of driving for the compass and GPS to fully calibrate.

The root cause of this issue is that there is a "slit" in the rubber seal of the antenna that allows rainwater to drain right into the antenna. Call it a design defect.

Long story short, research GM parts sites to identify which part number you need, then search that part number on Amazon. Hope this helps!
