No sound from rear speakers !!!

I have a 2004 Tahoe z71 w/bose not premium cannot for the life of me figure out why I have no sound from the rear speakers! please help

If you have rear audio controls, make sure it's plugged in.

where would that be located im sorry I just got this Tahoe is that on the back of the center console ? and why would the previous owner disconnect it? there problems there ?

Yes. The back of the center console. If the controls light up, it is plugged in and your issue is likely somewhere else. Lots of things to check. Connections at head unit, the speakers, amp, etc. Sorry I couldn't narrow it down.

Where is the amp located ? i just ordered new rear speakers so hopefully i can find out why this is happening ! I switched from a ford that had no problems to a chevy with a ton ! But im hangin in there lol

ok the rear control module for the air is working but when i push the power button for the rear sound nothin happens !?

If its an aftermarket headunit make sure the remote is wired in correctly
