casing/carrier or axle shaft or whatever you want to call it, is bigger is the reason you need new u-bolts. double check and make sure the perches do not have to be moved before you buy.

Ok I am a little ignorant on this 10 bolt swap I just want to be 100% before I buy this weekend. The axle I found is a 14 bolt 9.5in ring gear 6 lug with posi and same gear ratio. The spring perches line up as well as the shock mounts. Do I need anything else from the donor car other than brake lines?

To replace it I need new:

U joint conversion
U joint strap
U bolts for leafs?

Anything else?

Well after looking everything over again today we came to the conclusion the issue is in the transmission not either of the differentials. So its off to a mechanic next week.
