so i have an ltz (autoride) with an eibach rear sway bar and thats it. as i have the wheels turned to the right and am backing out or pulling into my driveway (small bump) i get a single metal on metal tick. its def coming from the rear of the tahoe, neighbor and i tried to find out more but where stumped. dont know if its in my suspension or drivetrain. any ideas? i would not think the sway bar caused it.

shouldn't, but is it pretty loud, and happens when you turn either way when backing, right or left?

yes pretty loud , so far i can only duplicate it when my wheels are turned to the right and backing up or going forward at slow speeds (10-15 mph) up and own my driveway , its a single metal on metal tick.

i went and checked and yes the e-brake is fully released. this is kinda weird . i drop the sway bar out and no more tick, reinstalled sway bar and no more tick. cant see it hitting anything and hardware was tight, so all i can figure is that it shifted and got tweeked on that right hand turn. dont really know but the sound is gone for now.
