Has anyone done the Nolathane control arm bushings for these trucks? I bought one set but haven't figured out exactly how to get the stock bushings out without damaging the arms. There's no way to put them in a press to get them out because of the direction they need to bhe pushed out, the other side of the arm will be in the way. I'm wondering if I can find a thin Sawzall blade to cut them in half through the bolt hole, but there's still risk of damaging the arm. I thought about a ball joint press but don't see anywhere on the arm to make it sit on, especially the upper arm that is rounded on either side of the bushing. When I asked Nolathane about the best way to install, they acted like I was an idiot for not already knowing. I've had these bushings sitting here for a while and I want to see if they tighten up the feel of this truck on the highway because I'm really thinking about getting rid of it again.

Call me lazy, but I just purchased entire new control arm assemblies, rather than mess around with trying to remove bushings and ball joints.

The Nolathane bushings have the metal case as part of them, the whole thing has to be pressed out.

That’s hilarious they sell and tool and did not direct me to that but instead acted like I was stupid for not already knowing. No shop swaps bushings any more.
just giving ya a hard time, lol. a universal press tool will work fine.
A socket of the right size and a good clamp or vice will work also
the ball joint is the fun part
there are shops here that will do it but you're going to pay.......
the machine shop here could knock those out and put the new one's in minutes flat but there going to charge like it took forever.
those $20,000 hydraulic press tools come with overhead

greenlee has hydraulic tools that will do it real quick but I don't know where you could rent one. there a little pricey to buy for 1 time use
I would probably just hit harbor freight, they have all kinds of crap
