Just wanted to pop in and say hello. Just picked up my first Tahoe. GM runs in my blood but never had an SUV myself. My old man had a 95 LT hoe with 350K on it when it got totaled. He also has a 02 Z71 Hoe with 240K on it. So watching him have that much success with his trucks, I guess I had to get one.
Now on to mine. Picked up a Black 03 Z71 with 124K for $8,000...MINT! Did I get a decent deal or was I ripped off? This thing shocked me when I saw it. It does have this damn BCM "rear access ajar" issue but other than that it's perfect. The previous owner bought some wheels for it and sold the stock 17's so when he traded it he just bought some 16" ls wheels. They wont stay long
. Pics to come shortly... Also, suggestions on lift and tire combo? I'm not sure If I want to go 17's or 18's. I really want this thing to have a pissed off stance... but I don't want to go too high right now... I was thinking just 3"spacers in the rear with a 3" on the keys in the front? I know that there is probably tons of threads about this very same thing but I searched with no luck... Thanks in advance!

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. There was a recent thread on here about the rear access ajar if you can search for it. But people round these parts get roudy when you start a thread like this and don't post pics. We need proof, lol.
