not blowing cold air

hey guys
the 04 tahoe has a serious problem in this blazing summer.
the front ac doesn't blow enough cold air it isn't as cold as in the rear i checked the gas.
sometimes the air becomes hot and i restart my vehicle to correct the problem.
i was told to change the fan clutch and the vent actuator.
what can you say from your experience.

Mine blew cold air in the rear and cool in the front. The system was not charged enough. I also changed the clutch fan. Mine would start blowing warm air when it was sitting still. The clutch fan fixed that.....Scott
