So second post
2000 Tahoe NBS. Really nice, but some things didn't work. So I spent the day, fixing this and that, little things, bulbs out, etc.
So the drivers door would not turn on the interior lights and after you got out the stereo kept on playing, aftermarket stereo.
Also had a Audiovox remote start installed, but the locks were disconnected. Guy said the unit was bad (Still under warranty)
I remove the remote start and find that the door lock relay is bad, replace.
Now I have the original key FOB working.
Found that both the switches on the drivers door at the latch(No idea what they are??) are unplugged, plug them back in and things are working the way they should.
So I decide to install the Satt Radio, NBD, took the dash panel off, installed and buttoned it all back up. Felling pretty good about the truck!
Then I start it, AIRBAG light is on solid. Flashes a bunch of times then just stays on?
So the million dollar question, by fixing the switches, relay, etc, did I cause the airbag ligh to light or did the original owner know this and hid the issue??
What are the function of the two door switches? Any ideas/suggestions? If I can get a diagram of the airbag circuit, I'm sure I can fix it?
Thanks,
Rich
