thanks guys. i really dont wanna mess around with the trans cause thats not really my forte' haha. it is possible that i can run these parts with a stock trans. As of right now my tahoe is a tow rig for my boat while im looking for a Dmax. Heres my plan

I also heard that these motors are compatable with LS parts im just unsure which ones. I heard that people use Z06 valve springs and rockers with a new cam to keep the cost down, correct my if im wrong,
What kind of numbers would i see with this set up?
TB stall should be roughly 2200-2600, at alot cheaper cost.So whats the deal with the TB converter? Can you still do mild towing with it? My LQ4 just arrived at the warehouse yesterday, so I'm putting together my list of goodies for it (didn't come with the trans unfortunately, but I'll beef up the 4L60E before the new motor goes in).
Right now I'm thinking LPP longtubes w/ Y pipe, a cam of some flavor (I'll be doing a supercharger eventually I think, so it's gotta be boost friendly), AEM intake, Magnaflow catback, and now maybe the TB converter. Anyone got any suggestions on a cam thats good with a force fed engine?
ive been on performancetrucks.net all morning and they got some good stuff. I got some studying to do haha. So far on my wish list, i want a 80mm throttle body plus an 80mm intake manifold. Currently i have a stock 5.3. i still wanna do intake and cam and a bunch of other stuff. haha idk what to get first
