I'm thinking satin is the way to go. I think the matte is to matte. The satin in over gloss so it should tone down slightly when it's just over the vinyl. The satin was a last minute try and seems to be the best
Going by the pics posted as best as they can represent, I vote satin.
This looks like what I've wanted to do to mine since before I even bought it. I like the classiness of the woodgrain, but I don't like the reddish-brown colors. Do you print and sell custom vinyls and can you print a burlwood or whatever is similar to the factory wood design but with blacks/greys/silvers? Or even a black/grey/silver marble might do.
When I laminate with matte it leave small air bubble that eventually go away so well see if that changes it any once it sits till tomorrow. Usually does look better
