Yea, I would have needed a fresh change, a stiff drink, and damn smoke after that one. Then I would have made sure noone had audio or pictures of me curled up in a little ball screaming like a girl.

Holy......................

How can that happen? Like Trick said every lift I've ever been around as the lift moves you here a clunk every 6 or so inches because for lack of a better word "safty blocks" automatically drop into place to prevent this from happening.

I would steer clear of that shop, either the lift is really old or the shop doesn't properly maintain it  My $.02

the only reason i would see that happen is if it was coming down. You have to remove those blocks to let it down. but he was working under it so something ****** up big time.

Damn....
There was a guy in my town who died when the vehicle he was working on fell on him. He was the mechanic at a piece of crap used car lot. They couldn't even afford a lift, so I'm guessing they were using a jack. It was our paper sometime around spring time.

Im assuming that was on the way down. Well atleast on my lift when your going up blocks fall into place to stop that from happening.

Yup. Damn I wouldn't know how to act when I get that call.
