I was wondering if the 5.7 in my '99 would benefit from prophylactically changing the O2 sensors on the truck. I am not showing a code but my truck has 172k on the original sensors. I heard that that sensors from that era are good for about 80k.

Sweet thanks. I'll check Rock Auto for prices. How do I tell if I have a 4L60-E or 4L80-E transmission code?

If you have amazon prime, they are usually the way to go. Make sure you get AC Delco part. rock auto usually is a little cheaper than amazon, but will get you with shipping.
