Thank you for the screenshot . Thats another approach they didn't mention in the Chevy manual for this error code. If I got the time I'm gonna try it this weekend.

The reason I wanna go with a universal cat is not only because it is cheaper, but because I'm from the other side of the pond the shipping cost for the bulky stock dual cat piping would be humongous.

Hello everyone,

weeks later I finally found the fault in the wiring.
If anyone has to deal with similar symptoms, it's definitely worth taking a look at the wires of the rear O2 sensors directly underneath the exhaust.
They have some kind of heat isolation at this spot. Underneath this isolation was my wiring problem.
