OBS 1997 Tahoe lift gate plastic bushing.

I was an observer for a long time. I was looking for a while for this bushing of the lift gate striker pin. Whrre can I find it? I have only one half of it remaining and once lost the lift gate will rattle.

It was probably sold along with the latch, so your best bet may be to just grab a new latch from a salvage yard.

I took a look at mine, it doesn’t look like it would pry out without tearing it up.



I would think that any 92-99 would use the same part. Here’s a good search engine for local salvage yards...

I guess fabricating one from Teflon will be a better bet since I live in extreme hot climate and plastic parts tend to break all the time.

And by the way. My tahoe is exactly the same as yours

I appreciate your effort but I'm so far away from all states. I'm actually in Bahrain.
