My OBS Tahoe has been draining my battery and I can't pinpoint the exact problem which has been a huge p.i.t.a! It already killed one good battery and I just had to spend $115 for another one :(

I tested for the problem by using a test light on the neg terminal and taking out every single fuse one by one. In the end the only fuse that made the test light go out when I pulled it was this 50amp fuse in the engine bay fuse block. It's labeled 50A BATT. (see image, top right, second one down):

I've unplugged the alternator, the starter motor and nothing else makes the test light go out except for that 50amp fuse. Does anybody have any idea or experience with this issue? Any help will be greatly appreciated by me and pocket :)

Thanks!

unknown at this time.
That also feeds the cab fuse block in the cab so do the same with those and when you are doing this disable the interior lights by tapeing down the door switch to avoid false indications. Perhaps you left some reading or visor lamp on?

I had a battery drain from the vanity mirror. The cover broke and it was on all the time.

I agree with sun, you have to do the dash panel fuse box also.

I don't think you will get that test light to turn off though. The radio and PCM are going to pull some juice for the memory. I would try using a multimeter and measure how many amps you are pulling.
