My OBS Tahoe has been draining my battery and I can't pinpoint the exact problem which has been a huge p.i.t.a! It already killed one good battery and I just had to spend $115 for another one
I tested for the problem by using a test light on the neg terminal and taking out every single fuse one by one. In the end the only fuse that made the test light go out when I pulled it was this 50amp fuse in the engine bay fuse block. It's labeled 50A BATT. (see image, top right, second one down):
I've unplugged the alternator, the starter motor and nothing else makes the test light go out except for that 50amp fuse. Does anybody have any idea or experience with this issue? Any help will be greatly appreciated by me and pocket
Thanks!
