We put the Lq9 6.0 motor in my Tahoe..

All was smooth but ONE tiny issue.. I forgot to put one of the exhaust manifold bolts on he drivers side.. 2nd or 3rd one from front.

Reason I saw this was b/c when we started the truck we noticed some coolant seeping from that hole. AS soon as we put the bolt in, there was no more issue.

I find it weird that coolant would come OUT of that exhaust manifold hole...

Thoughts??:emotions122:

There shouldn't be coolant seeping from ANY of the holes where the exhaust manifolds bolt into. Possible that there may be a small crack in the area inside the hole.

Any ideas? Think its a problem to just put some thread sealant on the bolt?

makes no sense
