I had the same problem until I had my dash replaced. I attributed it to the multiple cracks causing the dash to become loose and jiggle relentlessly under speed. If there was a bolt loose, it had to be under the dash somewhere.

I only have 1 small crack in my dash. Probably 1-2 inches long. The noise is more of a low pitch knock rather than a rattle.

For the record, I found out what the issue was.

My roof rack!

The plastics ends have some play in the where they lock into the pieces that run from front to back (if that makes sense). I basically just wedged one side further forward than the other to hold in tightly in place and the noise has not come back yet!

Glad that it was something stupid and not a major issue!
