I got mine from DDM and I couldn't be happier. 55W 8K HiLows.

I wanted to know if the kit you got from DDM was a true plug and play? I have an 08 Tahoe and was going to order a kit from them and wanted to make sure I didn't need to get an additional harness

It is as simple as plugging it in. I would recommend the harness if you get the 55W ballasts.

TX07, you should aim your headlights down a bit since you are getting flashed a lot. I got flashed initially because my truck if lifted a little. I parked in front of my sports coupe (~15 ft) and adjusted so the 'cut off' was below the rear view mirror and side mirrors.

hopefully I didn't thread jack but Thanks for the response I went with the 35w 5000k poor picture but it was from my phone after the install they are in a White 08 Tahoe LT3, I did get the harness just in case but didn't install it, I see no issues without it ATM but is it something I should consider putting in?

Ya I kind of raised them on purpose as bad as it sounds I'm mean. But I think its the fogs that blind people.

I have a 07 yukon. Just ordered me a set of 55w 5000k hilows and 35w 5000k fogs from DDM.

Zed. if the lights are plug and play, can i use my existing factory headlights and just replace the bulb? Will there be some scatter?
If there is, im not to worried about it but are there any way to reduce the scatter?

you said that you recommend the harness for the 55w? arent our trucks designed to take 55w?

guess what im asking is. can i just plug the lights in from ddm as they come and not have to worry a big deal for them. Ill adjust the lights alittle lower so i dont blind everyone.

TX actually there is some light scatter (not bad though and is minimized pointing it down). As is, park behind your friends car and sit in the drivers seat...

Yukon07, yes they are plug and play as long as you specify the same bulb it should be good to go. For some reason, a lot of people have been having issues with 55W kits, and it does not matter from which vendor. The relay harness has addressed those issues (voltage issues on the drivers side). As far as scatter, adjusting them down helps a lot.
