WOW, the part alone is 225 without shipping. GM updated shaft is under 70 shipped. Is it worth the extra money for the billet part?

I have a new stocker for 50 shipped bnib I ordered 2 by accident went I first bought my kon.. I have since put like 25k on her and no trouble. If you want to shut it up for now have your friend hold the steering wheel straight, unbolt it and push it out and in a couple times to regrease it.. Then bolt it back up. Should buy you about 30-40k miles before it starts making noise again. But thats a free fix. trust me it gets annoying

I put a Dorman unit a over a year ago on Michigan roads (more pot holes than pavement) and it's still tight and quiet.

DORMAN Part # 425176 about $45 (old school D-shaft) GM seemed to have spline issues on these trucks.
