Just a note....

These head units starting in 2012 are hard drive based with a 30gb drive. The NAV software is installed on the hard drive and not on a disc that stays installed behind the screen (there's no disc thrashing sound all the time like the older units). Also, music (mp3) can be copied to the hard drive and played via the menu.

Another thing that I've found is that the XM tuner is built-in, so there is no XM box behind the glove compartment that the antenna plugs into first. The antenna plugs directly into the back of the head unit

I am assuming that this one won't work for an 09? My LTZ has the same Amp that the Denali has, but mine has the CD based NAV system.

Yes, you can upgrade yours to that one Mike. I think they also have a replay feature, you're listening to radio and missed something you can rewind a bit and hear it again.

I don't remember if UYS is also configured for RSE, the back seat DVD players or not. Sean will know of course!

Do you have the RSE in your Yukon? That is the one thing I couldn't find if it was supported by the part number.

Doesn’t matter if he has it or not, you can have it turned on in the programming when you send it out to be vin programmed
