I can't speak for the wiring but you'll at least need the JL1 module programmed into the computer system.

You'll need access to an advanced scan tool that can program GM modules and a subscription to ACDelcoTDS for $40-57.

from what i have read for the nnbs anyway even if you get the oem switch, dash panel and harness it still wont work, takes a whole different vehicle wire harness and has to connect to the transmission and etc.. that information could be wrong it is just what i read after spending a bit of time looking into it.

I think this has been discussed some where before, maybe here or the truck forum and I think there was a whole lot more involved than just putting on two parts. I think the end result was an aftermarket controller.

My ‘18 Tahoe came with what I assume is a harness for an aftermarket controller in the glove box. Of course it is not hooked to anything in there. Plugs under the dash somewhere.

I think that you'll still want the jumper, for your aftermarket controller.

OEM or bust! I'll scour the truck forums.

The answer, per interwebz, is no. Adding the OEM trailer brake is not going to happen. Wamp wamp.
