OEM Trailer Brake Controller

Hey guys, Bought my wife a 15 Yukon XL with the intention of never using it to haul anything heavy as I have a F-250, but I'm pretty much in love with this thing and am wanting to put a trailer brake controller in it. By law in Texas if a trailer has 2 axles it needs to have brakes on one and the tow vehicle must have a controller on it. So here I am with a pickle of picking a controller, I like OEM integration on almost all things for the looks, but I am having a hard time figuring out if I can put the OEM unit in the truck. Has anyone tried this yet?

I just looked into this for my 2015 tahoe. Dealership Tech who is my goof friend and the only person that touched all of my vehicles besides me looked into it. And its not possible as the integration is ran by the computer and a lot of hacking would need to go into making it happen. Not to say its not possible but i just installed a after market one with factory pig tail. Plug and play. Easy and simple.
