Hey guys,
I'm heading out to Boston area to go to college for my junior year in 2 1/2 weeks. I just got my '04 Tahoe in May and it has 82k miles and had a 100+ point inspection by the dealer when I got it(who knows if they really checked it all out) Everything has worked flawlessly (exception: one DDM headlight ballast) and I was wondering what things should I check/change before I leave for the almost 5 months away?
-My Oil was changed in May by dealership and reads 56% left as of today. If it is under 50% Should I change it before I go to college with my step-dad or wait until its at 0% and go to a garage out there?
-My belt squeals when its wet outside (early morning dew/heavy rain) for about 5 minutes then goes away. (searched online and found this can happen with newer belts that are wet) Should I change it before I leave?
-Should I check spark-plugs, any other oils in the engine? (or trust the dealership did the job with the inspection in late May?)
-I have a Superchips tuner (to also check error codes) incase they happen
-Any more input on things to inspect/ use before I go?
-I already posted this thread http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3153 about how to keep my Hoe clean while there and got great advice, so I hope for the same here
Thanks for anyone helping me with all/one of these questions
-Anthony
