So I decided to weigh my 26" wheels and tires because I had a minor misfortune.
Here is the wheel/tire on a regular scale. I weighed it a few times and it was almost constantly the same weight, or +2 Lbs. I am thinking the heaviest it could weigh with error is +5 Lbs more. I also weighed two 45Lbs plate weights so that you can see the comparison of the two.
I guess this bust those myths that these puppies are heavy as hell lol.

That miss fortune was a pretty bad one.. unless someone screwed that in to the tire instead of shoting the hood.. Jk. Sorry to bring that up again. But I know these suckers weigh a lot. When I take them off and on during the winter them Effers are heavy. Then you lift up the 22's and feels like nothing.

I knew when I hit it. It was on the highway and made a pretty loud sound. Sounded like a blowout but it held air.
It can't be heavier than my 20s by more than 10 Lbs. The tires on these is lighter that the tires on the 20s. The wheels are a bit heavier though.

Oh believe me they are freaking heavy compared to lifting up 22's and putting them on. I will one day have to weigh the two. But suxs that happened to you. At least your rim isn't bent like mine.

Extra info:
A common measure for balancing weights on a wheel/tires assembly is no more than 1% of the total wheel/tire weight. So if the weight of the wheel/tire is 90 Lbs (1440 oz.), then I can reasonably use up to 14.4 oz. The pictured wheel only has 4.5 oz, which is 0.3% of the total wheel/tire weight. So cheaper tires do sometimes have good balance qualities. :D

Hopefully "2011Tahoe" chimes on because I know he has more tire knowledge than I do.

17" wheel and tire weight:

I know my 20s are substantially heavier than these 17s. At least 84 Lbs each wheel/tire.

I was going to get those, but someone bought 1 of 4 as I was going to pick them out. Btw which tire was it? I may need you to get a quick pic of something if its not any trouble?
