oh deer....

Well last night i was leaving my buddies house and i was going through his neighborhood minding my own business when i see a deer out of the corner of my eye, well this thing starts running into the street so i slam on the brakes and it turns and runs right into my drivers door, so now ive got a big dent on my door, it was just what i needed right now lol, havent even had the truck for a month yet

I was dispatched to a deer strike one evening. When I arrived the lady that made first contact with the deer barely hurt the deer or her car. Another driver headed the opposite direction saw the deer run in front of the car. He stopped next to the deer, so when the deer jumped up from the first hit, it ran right into the side of the stopped truck then turned and ran away. The driver of the second car was off-duty and headed to see some friends.

On another note....I saw a deer bolt across the highway, so I began slowing down. Out of nowhere a second deer runs into the driver side door of my cruiser. I was not at all happy. especially since it got up and ran off. There was deer hair stuck in the door trim and door handle.

yeah this thing faked me out cause it turned away from the road then quickly turned right back around and headed right for the side of my truck, it bounced right off and kept going into the woods, i was so tempted to follow it haha, man was i angry

ill take some pics of it in the morning, not that i want to or anything lol, i hate looking at it and of course its right on my drivers door

at least the deer didnt shit all over your car when you hit it. Thats always fun washing that off. lol

haha thank god that didnt happen, its weird cause it was in the same exact spot that my friend hit one in his 350z, but his car didnt come out of it anywhere near as well as mine did, its probably the same damn deer

i got a buddy his uncle hit a deer in his tahoe going 65 he had to replace the bumper hood and grille bein rednecks like we are we kept the deer antlers and mounted them on a plaqe<-- think thats spelled right?? with a picture of the carnage and simply wrote "R.I.P Tahoe" gave it to him for xmas

I had another incident in which I was entering the highway at around 55. There were several semis closing in on me and low and behold a young buck appeared to be grazing on the pavement. He looked up and stared at me as I tried to guess his next move. Watching him peddle his legs and get nowhere made me cringe thinking of the semi hitting him. They leave blood spots on the highway and do minor damage to the semis. He finally made up his mind and bolted from the road.
