I had another incident in which I was entering the highway at around 55. There were several semis closing in on me and low and behold a young buck appeared to be grazing on the pavement. He looked up and stared at me as I tried to guess his next move. Watching him peddle his legs and get nowhere made me cringe thinking of the semi hitting him. They leave blood spots on the highway and do minor damage to the semis. He finally made up his mind and bolted from the road.
I hit several deer(at least 3 or 4) at once in my semi years ago the road behind looked like a war zone...took my 2 hours to wash off all the blood, hair and deer poop.
Btw it only slightly bent the front bumper(old mack semi truck the bumper was thick steel)
